The Change Starts With You!

You Can Make A Difference In Our Community!

At House of Grace Ministries, we believe that we are our brothers keeper & reach out in love to those who need a helping hand to move forward in life!  We invest in people and believe that with God, "all things are possible."

Whether someone is homeless, getting out of a treatment facility, correctional facility or in a crisis situation, we reach out to address the immediate needs as funds allow.  Food, clothing, bus passes and guiding an individual with available social services for their situation are some of the things that we assist with.

Currently we are primarily active in outreaches in the greater Danbury, CT area:

  • Weekly community food distribution - for our local veterans, families/individuals who are in need of food and household supplies.
  • Step Up Into Housing - for the homeless moving into apartments, providing furniture and household items.
Every donation is important and will have a positive impact as you partner with us!

"This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." 1 John 5:14 We believe that God answers prayer. If you have a prayer request that you would like to share, please let us know and we will lift up your request before the Lord.

This was a faith based program that provided assistance for male, homeless veterans with for over 13 years and has currently been terminated.  We provided:

Living Quarters

     Food & Clothing assistance
          Counseling & Case Management
                Life Skills Assessment & Development
      Personal Development & Goal Setting
               Job Preparation & Placement

Goals and objectives were individualized to meet participants personal needs.  We took under consideration each person's strengths and weaknesses and worked with them accordingly.

Networking with other resource services, agencies, employers and ministers was an important part of our organizations activities to accomplish established goals.  We believed in addressing the whole individual, practically and spiritually.

We always encouraged the participants to reach their full potential!
